摘要
To predict the remaining residual lifespan potential of safety-related components in the vehicle, knowledge of the stress in the field is a prerequisite. By proper use of already existing results from time accelerated testing, the remaining residual life probability can be specified. This paper presents a new method that enables the determination of the residual life of electrical components. Thereby, a correlation factor is defined, which sets the field and laboratory exposure into consideration. Customers expect their vehicle to last longer and the cost for the new vehicle components is not quite cheap. This model serves to describe the Remanufacturing with the correlation from the Field and Laboratory. A generalized reliability forecast model is to indicate the reliability of a remanufactured component for a second life. Hence the investigation of reliability with the objective to develop a Prognosis Model with which one can predict the remaining residual lifetime potential of the component. This model relies on a database of real field data that is provided by a renowned Automobile manufacturer for analysis purposes and aims at functional reuse of the products.
