摘要
The electric vehicle market is growing all over the world. Electric vehicles are the solution to being independent and free from imported energy sources. To make the system sustainable, the adoption of electric vehicles is one of the options. According to a literature survey, electric vehicle charging has various issues like high impact on the grid, voltage, current, etc. Since the fast-charging stations have such high charging loads, there is a rise in peak load demand as well as decreased reserve margins, voltage instability, and reliability issues. In this way, the impact of smart charging stations on the distribution sector will be studied and analysed. Different ways to make the load curve smoother and the solution thereof have been discussed in this paper. Copyright (C) 2022 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
