Microscopic analysis of the 13C(α, n)16O and 16O(n, γ)17O reactions

摘要
The C-13(alpha ,n)O-16 reaction is studied in a microscopic multicluster model, where the C-13 and O-16 nuclei are described by a tetrahedral structure involving 3 alpha + n and 4 alpha clusters, respectively. The model provides a good description of the O-17 spectrum near the C-13 + alpha threshold. We focus on the 1/2(2)(+) subthreshold state which essentially determines the low-energy C-13(alpha, n)O-16 S-factor. The present result is consistent with a previous microscopic calculation and confims the lowenergy enhancement. The analysis is complemented by an investigation of the O-16(n, gamma)O-17 and O-16(p, gamma)F-17 reactions. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
