This article highlights the process of convergence and adequacy developed by the textbook with digital media, through suggestions presented in the History books, especially in the "History, Society and Citizenship" collection of FDT, worked from 6th to 9th of elementary school in public schools in Brazil between 2017-2019. Firstly, we identified the suggestions in the textbooks, secondly, we categorized and evaluated the possibilities of access and finally, we described and discussed the indications by categories linked to the data from Cetic.br. As a result, we observed that around 55% of website suggestions are still online, but that use in the classroom may be compromised with regard to internet access at school, where 90% of students say they use the internet as the main source of research, 77% say they use the cell phone as the main search device, but only 5% say they have permission to use it at school. Thus, we conclude that the use of these suggestions by the student is directly linked to the knowledge of the teacher, the protagonist of the mediation process between content, information and digital media.
