摘要
Continuous wave and pulsed laser emission between 2.7 and 4.0 mu m from Er+3, Ho+3 or Dy+3 doped fluorozirconate (ZrF4) glass fiber lasers is reported. A survey is presented of the most significant progress achieved recently in terms of average and peak powers as well as pulse energy.
