Static potential in a topologically massive Born-Infeld theory

摘要
For a (2 + 1)-dimensional topologically massive Born-Infeld theory, we compute the interaction potential within the structure of the gauge-invariant but path-dependent variables formalism. The result is equivalent to that of QED(3) with a Thirring interaction term among fermions, in the short distance regime. (C) 2004 Published by Elsevier B.V.
