PVDF, Barium Hexaferrites, and rGO Nanocomposite for High Energy Density Capacitor

摘要
This paper reports dielectric and energy storage properties of a tertiary nanocomposite system composed of Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), BHF (BaFe12O19), and reduced graphene oxides (rGOs). The 0.90(PVDF)-0.1[(1-x) BHF x(rGO)] nanocomposites thick films were prepared by solution cast method. This tertiary compound has been prepared to explore the possible use of this material in high energy density capacitor. The crystal symmetry modifications due to reduced graphene oxide, BHF, and PVDF interaction have been studied by employing the X-ray diffraction. The dielectric constant and dielectric loss of the tertiary nanocomposite thick film has been studied with frequency variations from 100 Hz to 10 MHz. A very high dielectric constant has been observed for 0.90(PVDF)-0.1[(0.95) BHF-(0.05) rGO], which is the percolation threshold value of the present tertiary nanocomposites. The energy storage density and energy storage efficiency are extracted from the ferroelectric loop of all the samples. The energy storage efficiency of 0.90(PVDF)-0.1[(0.95) BHF-(0.05) rGO] sample is highest among all the prepared nanocomposite samples.
