摘要
A novel design of dual-polarized printed dipole antenna is proposed for base station antennas of 5G mobile communications systems operating within frequency band 3.3-5.9 GHz. Each crossed dipole is excited by microsrtip line stub which is fed by the standard 50-Ohm coaxial line. The configuration of dipole arms has been synthesized by means of Bezier curves of the third order. This approximation provides the accurate tuning of the crossed dipoles mutual coupling and the extension of operational frequency band of antenna. The essential improvement of antenna characteristics in comparison with the known prototypes has been achieved after numerical full wave optimization of the dipole profile. The characteristics of 8-element antenna array of proposed modified planar dipoles have been studied. Over the frequency band 3.3-5.9 GHz (57%) the reflection coefficient is -15 dB, isolation is -28 ... -30 dB, the beam width for level -10 dB is equal to 120 degrees-4 degrees/+10 degrees.
