摘要
Climate change has heinous effect on agriculture and it is inevitably impacting the farming-community. The small and marginal farmers are the most vulnerable group, as they have to take decision on cropping pattern and planting time of different agriculture crops. The study aims to identify the pattern of climatic indicators (maximum temperature, rainfall and relative humidity) during the period 1989-2020. The study used Mann-Kendall test and Sen's slop estimator toanalyze the trends of time series climatic indicators. The study found that the farmers suffered to take decision in the monsoon period due to the decline and erratic average trend of rainfall trend with R-2 value 0.0021. The trend of average rainfall for the month of June decline significantly with Z value -1.83 at 0.1 of significance level. The maximum temperature have been rising and anticipated to rise in the coming years(by around 0.004 degrees C per year). As agricultural production for the farmers is the main resource of income, suitable adaptation measures needs to be implemented to lessen the areas sensitive to climate change.
