Graphene Nanoribbon Modeling Based on MoM-GEC Method for Antenna Applications in the Terahertz Range

摘要
In this paper, we present a graphene nano-ribbon based terahertz antenna modeling using the MoM-GEC method (the moments method combined to the generalized equivalent circuit). The quantum mechanical conductivity of graphene is employed to introduce the graphene's effect in the mathematical formulation. The graphene nanoribbon is excited by a located source with unit voltage and shielded in a waveguide with electric boundaries. The obtained input impedance, current density distribution and radiated electric field are presented to discuss the antenna performance.
