摘要
The side-by-side composite fiber is a multi-component composite fiber having a three-dimensional spiral crimp structure, and its main feature is that physical properties and functional design can be realized by adjusting the composite composition and the composite ratio. In this paper, polyester raw materials with different viscosities are selected as the two components of the fiber. The twin-screw spinning machine and the hollow "8"-shaped spinneret are used to prepare the side-by-side composite fiber. The fiber is subjected to different multiple drawing and heat treatment at different temperatures. The fiber obtained a three-dimensional crimped structure. The results show that the fiber can be stretched to increase the breaking strength, the elongation at break is reduced, the dimensional stability is improved, and the fiber is more dense and finely crimped. Heat treatment of the fiber can make the crystallization of the fiber more perfect, the breaking strength is improved, and the fiber elastic property is improved. (C) 2019 Elsevier Ltd.
