Reconstruction of near-field in-line hologram

摘要
A new idea for reconstructing a near-field in-line hologram without the distortion of the twin-image is proposed. It is based on the two facts that the far-field in-line hologram is little distorted by twin-image when it is reconstructed and that the average intensity of the light is much weaker on a far-away plane than on the surface of the object. An example proves that it is practical. This method is much quicker than the phase retrieval method. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
