摘要
This article investigates the relationship between environmental characteristics, social ties and entrepreneurs' management innovation intention in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to find out the factors that influencing the entrepreneur's management innovation intention. The results based on 152 samples from entrepreneurs of SMEs in Pearl River Delta indicate that entrepreneurs' self-efficacy and business ties have a positive influence upon management innovation intention, while environmental dynamism has a nonlinear influence on innovation intention. Meanwhile entrepreneurs' self-efficacy moderates the relation between environmental dynamism and management innovation intention such that management innovation intention will be higher in response to moderate environmental dynamism when entrepreneurs' self-efficacy is high.
