摘要：
Synthesis of some new 2,4-disubstituted thiazoles (2) has been reported. The synthesized compounds were characterized by their spectral data and elemental analysis. The compounds were screened for their antimicrobial activity against S. aureus, E. coli, B. subtilis, P aeruginosa and S. megaterium by disc method at 100 mu g/ml conc. in DMF. All the synthesized compounds showed good to moderate antimicrobial activity.
