摘要
Synthesis of carbon nanostructures at low temperature range of 600 degrees C by a filament assisted chemical vapor deposition method was investigated. This system could be used to synthesis carbon nano-tubes, nano-fibers, and nano-helixes by changing the catalyst materials. The results indicated that the synthesis of these carbon structures with diameter from 20-500 nm range is possible with the current method. It has been reported that random deposition of carbon helix structured in CVD of carbon nanotubes. This paper presents details of these experimental procedures.
