摘要
The paper deals with non-linear performance of asymmetrical reinforced concrete (RC) frames under various ground motions in terms of maximum inter-storey drift ratio. A three-storey SPEAR (Seismic Performance and Assessment Rehabilitation) reinforced concrete building with irregularity in plan is subjected to 8 records of far-fault ground motions obtained from NGA-PEER database of University of California at Berkeley. Analysis methods used include linear static analysis (Response Spectrum Analysis), linear dynamic analysis (Linear Modal Time History Analysis), non-linear static analysis (Pushover Analysis) and non-linear dynamic analysis (Non-linear Modal Time History). The results show that inter-storey drift ratio is greater in x-direction in both linear and non-linear analysis. All methods of analyses presented the maximum inter-storey drift ratio for SPEAR building occurred at the second floor.
