摘要
The professional training of new media artists in the Ecuadorian University opens an academic perspective that can contribute to modify the panorama of deficiencies and weaknesses of digital art in Ecuador and its teaching. The objective was to recognize the specificity of the artistic and artistic-pedagogical field to determine the strategies to be used in the formative processes of digital artists. The research is descriptive, it describes the current situation of the Bachelor's Degree in Production and Direction in Multimedia Arts and Bachelor's Degree in Production and Direction in Audiovisual Arts. Field research, data collection and interviews were applied. Theoretical-methodological assumptions were established to support a scientific and viable formulation of an academic proposal aimed at a favorable change in the detected situation. The University can promote the development of digital art in the Ecuadorian professional artistic field with a curricular strategy specially designed for the professional training of digital artists.
