摘要
In recent decades, with the rapid development of smart substation technology, it is producing more and more confusion for smart grid operation. However, the technical differences between smart substation and comprehensive automation substation are not still to be cleared. In this paper, the core technology and characteristics of smart substation are analyzed based on the research of smart substation in operation. The physical construction and data transmission differences between smart substation and comprehensive automation substation are compared. Thus the advantages of modern smart substation are verified. In addition, future technical trend of smart substation is explored, based on the study of advanced recent power system technologies.
