摘要
Photocatalytic production of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) with water and oxygen as clean source is considered to be a sustainable strategy. Resorcinol-formaldehyde (RF) resin has attracted much attention as a promising polymeric photocatalyst, but the inefficient charge transfer restricts its corresponding photocatalytic efficiency. Herein, the design and synthesis of graphene quantum dots (GQDs) modified RF (RF-GQDs) composite via freeze-drying method are reported. The improvment of the RF-GQDs composite charge separation efficiency is achieved through the combination electrostatic interaction between GQDs and RF, thus greatly enhancing photocatalytic performance. The optimal RF-GQDs display the best photocatalytic H2O2 production activity of 2.45 mmol h(-1) g(-1), which is 5.1 times that of bare RF (0.48 mmol h(-1) g(-1)). This work might contribute to a new way for the development of RF-based ploymeric photocatalysts for efficient photocatalytic H2O2 production.
