PMD mitigation and wavelength conversion using a SOA-based interferometric switch

摘要
We propose a new application of the SOA-based wavelength conversion, which can realize polarization mode dispersion (PMD) mitigation for 10 GHZ picosecond optical pulse. Both PMD mitigation and wavelength conversion are demonstrated by experiments. (C) 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
