A new type of simulation system combining operation training and knowledge training

摘要
A new type of simulation training system for power plants is presented in this paper. It is based on double screen PC and combines operating simulation with multimedia knowledge training. The operating simulation includes both simulations of the control panel interface and the on-site instrument and equipment. The main advantage of such kind of simulation system is that the trainee can not only be taught how to operate but also can obtain the knowledge of why to do so. Experience with on-site application of this new training system in power plants has demonstrated that the system provides superior training.
