摘要
Asphalt mastic is a kind of composite which included fine aggregates, asphalt and filler. Its mechanical behavior has significant effect on asphalt mixture. Therefore, mechanical behavior of asphalt mastic was predicted using FEM method. Stress concentration and effective modulus were evaluated. Result indicates that factor of stress concentration decrease with mastic modulus. Scale of FEM model has significant influence on effective modulus of mastic. The predicted modulus tends to a stable value when scale ratio is greater than 5.
