EFFECTIVE TEACHING OF CFD CODES - STUDENTS AND TEACHERS POINT OF VIEW

摘要
Effective learning of operation of CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) software requires practical approach supported by specialist knowledge of the teacher, as well as appropriate methods of the course leading. The paper presents set of statistic data acquired as a result of survey conducted among the group of 85 students of the Faculty of Energy and Fuels on AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, Poland (FEF-UST). Responders contributing in the study already had experiences with CFD codes. The aim of study was to collect data allowing to develop the set of recommendations for teachers preparing syllabuses and materials for CFD courses. Moreover, the paper includes additional information about the methods of teaching currently applied by authors, presented based on case studies.
