摘要：
Skin tests are a valuable tool in the diagnosis of allergenic rhinitis, asthma, and anaphylaxis. Skin tests need to be interpreted in conjunction with a relevant history and physical examination since asymptomatic individuals may have positive skin tests. A number of variables may affect skin reactivity, including medications, age, quality of allergen extracts, and site of testing. A semiquantitative system of interpretation of skin tests is included.
