A comparison study over the influence of phase noise on multi-carrier communications

摘要
Several studies over phase noise issue over single and multicarrier communications systems have been developed, especially regarding its influence on signal constellations, since received and demodulated signal are strictly controlled through standards. In this article, we study and develop a method for analyzing the influence of phase noise, in different contexts for multi-carrier communication systems, with different number of carriers. Also, the influence of several noise parameters of the oscillators has to be taken in account, along with proposed methods for reducing the effects of phase noise within the receiver.
