摘要
Premature ventricular complexes (PVCs) are a common rhythm disorder. Clinical manifestations range from no symptoms to debilitating symptoms that interfere with daily life. PVC-induced cardiomyopathy is a reversible condition in which left ventricular dysfunction is induced by a high PVC burden (usually > 10%). Management depends on symptoms, PVC burden, and presence or absence of structural heart disease. Catheter ablation is considered superior to medical therapy to suppress PVCs. PVC ablation should be considered in patients with symptomatic PVC and failed medical treatment, in patients with suspected PVC-induced cardiomyopathy, and for the treatment of PVC-triggered ventricular fibrillation (VF).
