摘要：

6-Methyl-3- (prop-2-ynylsulfanyl)-1,2,4-triazin-5(2H)-one 1 on refluxing with hexamethyl phophoric triamide (HMPT), in the presence of catalytic amount of PdCl2(PhCN)(2) affords 2,6-dimethylthiazolo [3,2-b][1,2,4] triazin-7-one 10 via an interesting Claisen rearrangment. This structure has been confirmed by unambiguous synthesis of 10.
