THE IMPACT OF THE CNPq/NAS COOPERATIVE PROGRAM ON THE DEVELOPEMENT OF CHEMISTRY IN BRAZIL. Main features of the CNPq/NAS Cooperative Program in the field of Chemistry are described as well as the corresponding activities carried out in the University of Sao Paulo along the years 1969-1976.
