A study on blue light-emitting devices based on novel pyrazole compound

摘要
Many pyrazole compounds, have been proved to be excellent blue light-emitting material and good hole-transporting material. DSC and AFM analysis demonstrate that 1,3-diphenyl-5 -(9-phenanthryl) -4,5 -di hydro-1-H -pyrazole (DPPhP) has a high Tg of about 96 degrees C and good film forming ability. In this work, we have fabricated several devices with structure of ITO/PVK:DPPhP(5%)/PBD(xmn)/AlQ(5mu)/LiF(0.3nm)/ Al, PBD used as hole-blocking layer and AlQ used as electron-transporting layer. And pure blue light emission devices have been obtained. In device ITO/PVK: DPPhP (5%)/PBD(10mn)/AlQ(5nm)/LiF(0.3nm)/Al , CIE coor-dinates is (0.158, 0.150) at l6v, which is very close to (0.15, 0.15).
