Light absorption coefficients for randomly oriented clusters of spherical particles in the double-scattering approximation

摘要
Relatively simple approximate formulas describing the light absorption coefficients for randomly oriented clusters of spherical particles are obtained. Approximate and exact values of absorption coefficients for clusters consisting of touching particles are compared for different values of refractive index, particle size, and number of particles in a cluster.
