摘要：
Long-term laboratory freezer storage of DNA samples can present a huge problem, with personnel changes, labeling etc. Dry storage systems consist of a mixture of chemicals that, when infused into a cotton paper, protect DNA from nucleases and other degradative processes. This process is known as FTA (fast technology for analysis of nucleic acids). Several companies have now applied this technology to automatic storage systems.
