摘要
Financial literacy has a substantial impact on the correctness of decisions that significantly affect the quality of life of the university graduates, no matter in what field of study they graduated. If we say that financial literacy is an important element for graduates of technical orientation then for future managers it is an absolutely necessity. The aim of this paper is to introduce the basic methods of education in elementary economic theories and finance with an objective to create conditions for the development of financial literacy of students. The emphasis in this case is given to the methods which develop economic thinking and the competences to apply knowledge in practice.
