Research on the pintle nozzle spray penetration length

摘要
The spray of pintle nozzle are measured by using the flash photography. The results of spray penetration length are obtained at the condition of high pressure chamber's pressure in 2.1,2.3 and 2.5 MPa. Two quasi-dimension spray models about gaseous jet model and liquid phase vapor model are studied. Combining the hole nozzle penetration length calculating formula in two models and tested data, The pintle nozzle penetration length calculating formula are deeply obtained by correcting two hole nozzle spray penetration length formulas. The corrected formulas can describe pintle nozzle penetration length closely.
