摘要
This paper considers the application of dual predictive control to fault tolerant control. The main features of the controller introduced are: (i) it exercises caution based on model uncertainty and (ii) it also tends to produce control inputs which improve estimation performance. Compromise between control performance and on-line modelling are the characteristics that make the scheme suitable in fault tolerant control. After the description of the theory a simulation illustrates the usefulness of the technique when a fighter aircraft dynamical malfunction occurs.
