摘要
A fuzzy logic peak current control is proposed to extract the maximum power from a wind turbine and reduce the total harmonic distortion of the generator current. This system uses a permanent magnet synchronous generator and a boost rectifier operating in discontinuous conduction mode (DCM). The proposed method includes a fuzzy logic controller, used for deriving the optimum value of DC-side current, that will be used as reference for the peak current controller. A simulation study is done to verify the validation of the proposed method, also to show the advantages of the system designed to operate in DCM compared with that designed to operate in CCM.
