摘要
This work aims to describe the application of a robust current controller for a direct current (DC) motor applied to a hydraulic turbine emulation system. The controller's goal is to make the motor's electrical dynamics fast enough for it to be neglected in the emulation process. The robust current controller will be designed from linear matrix inequalities LMIs responsible for delimiting the region of the complex plane, which the poles must occupy, and thus obtaining the desired performance. The power developed by the dynamic model of the hydro generation system will be converted into a current reference signal that should be the setpoint of the DC motor so that it has the dynamic behavior of the emulated hydraulic turbine. The performance of the emulation system was evaluated through the power output and speed of the dc motor in comparison with the power and speed of the simulated hydraulic turbine, which was evaluated through the Willmott coefficient and the root means square error.
