摘要：
Methods for determining petroleum products in the environment are surveyed. Among them are methods used in routine water and soil analysis; more sophisticated methods, such as gas chromatography and chromatography-mass spectrometry; and remote sensing methods for determining petroleum pollution. The recognition of sources of petroleum pollutants and the analysis of weathered and degraded petroleum products are also considered.
