摘要
A compact three-waveguide polarization independent power splitter is designed and analyzed using effective index based matrix method (EIMM) in SOI platform. The device becomes polarization independent for a coupling length of 2.12 mu m with an excess loss of 0.44 dB at a transmitting wavelength of 1.55 mu m.
