摘要：

Social media sites are quite popular among students, the paper aims to find out - the most preferred social media platform among students and performs social network analysis on this preferred social network. The paper works in two phases - analysis and synthesis phase. The analysis phase selects the preferred social media platform among students by the survey process. The synthesis phase presents the qualitative and quantitative analysis of the preferred social media platform. It studies the nature of communication and studies if it is positive, negative or neutral.
