One-dimensional potential scattering of electrons in a bichromatic laser field

摘要
We consider by numerically integrating the time-dependent Schrodinger equation the scattering of electrons by a one-dimensional potential well in the presence of a bichromatic laser field of frequencies omega and 2 omega or omega and 3 omega and we investigate the transmitted and reflected scattering probabilities as a function of the relative phase phi between the two radiation field components. We also compare the results of this analysis with the probabilities obtained in earlier work in which the scattering problem was treated analytically, receiving in this way a deeper insight into this process.
