摘要：
The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C30H24N2O2, contains two independent molecules, which both lie on centers of inversion. The central phenylene ring is inclined at 61.4 (2)degrees with respect to the flanking aromatic ring [dihedral angle = 70.7 (3)degrees in the second molecule].
