摘要
Starting from performance measurements performed over a national platform implementing differentiated IP services, the contributions exposed in this paper deal with the integration Of new Transport services together with new IP services within an end-to-end communication architecture. This architecture is aimed at allowing the application programmers to be masked with the complexity of choosing the underlying Transport and IP services (among several ones), still being provided with a per flow quality of service (QoS). The paper first defines how to map the application requirements together with deterministic or non deterministic underlying QoS services (typically EF/AF-based ones at the IP level). It then studies how to quantify the end-to-end QoS resulting from the coupling of new Transport QoS and EF/AF-based IP QoS in a mono domain DiffServ environment. The algorithm allowing to select the adequate Transport and IP services is finally detailed.
