摘要
In the framework of U(3)(L)xU(3)(R) chiral theory of mesons, pi K elastic scattering is studied. The s-wave and p-wave scattering lengths (a(0)(3/2), a(0)(1/2), a(1)(3/2), and a(1)(1/2)) and phase shifts (delta(0)(3/2), delta(0)(1/2), delta(1)(3/2) and delta(1)(1/2)), the total elastic scattering cross section sigma(tot)(pi(+)K(+)) and sigma(tot)(pi(-)K(+)), and the p-wave cross section sigma(p)(pi(-)K(+)) are calculated. Theoretical results are in agreement with the experimental data. There is no new parameter in this study. [S0556-2821 (98)03321-9].
