Some recent results on hopficity, co-hopficity and related properties

摘要：
In this paper we give a survey of some recent results on hopficity, co-hopficity, residual finiteness etc., in many familiar categories, after briefly describing the origin of the subject. At the end of the paper we mention many open problems.
