摘要：
Symmetrically positioned zeros attract distant iterates yet expel nearby ones: causing poor convergence. An effective countermeasure, used successfully for the Cluster-Adapted Method (CLAM), has now been tailored for Laguerre's method, producing excellent results in limited tests.
