Experimental check of the GDH sum rule at MAMI and ELSA

摘要：
An experimental check of the GDH sum rule has been performed at the electron accelerators MAMI and ELSA using circularly polarized tagged photons impinging on a longitudinally polarized nucleon target together with 4 pi detector systems. Both experiments measured the helicity dependence of the total photoabsorption cross sections, also all open partial reaction channels up to 800 MeV have been investigated.
