摘要
We introduce a new design methodology for synthesizing two-dimensional polarization sensitive computer generated holograms. Our method uses the form-birefringence of a single binary two-dimensional grating to produce different phase profiles for the two orthogonal linear polarizations. We validated the method numerically using the finite-difference-time-domain method. We fabricated a single element but have not yet characterized its performance. (c) 2002 Optical Society of America.
