Ethics in weed science

Weed scientists have deep-seated values and ethical views that are shared with the agricultural science community. Ethics is more than behavior; it requires that we question our definition of problems, our methods to solve problems, and our most fundamental assumptions. This paper argues that weed scientists need to engage in ethical reflection and broaden their concept of values to include justice and the common good.
