摘要
Numerous systems in nature during their evolution exhibit self-organization. The ability of a system to evolve in such a way is a consequence of the fact that the real systems are open to their environment. In such systems among natural modes, as a result of nonlinear interactions, a significant number of non-fundamental modes exists. We investigate the excitation of these modes and their contribution to the development of quasi-stationary nonequilibrium states. As a model of an open system we consider the coupling of an intense laser light to an underdense plasma placed in vacuum. It is shown that the response of the plasma system can be very high due to the generation of waves with frequency below the plasma frequency which can interact with a large number of bulk electrons.
