Enthalpies of solution in ethanol-water mixtures and acetone at 298.15 K and enthalpies of fusion of L(-)- and DL-chloramphenicols, D(+)- and DL-camphors, and (L-)- and DL-menthols

摘要
Differential scanning calorimetry and dissolution microcalorimetry were used to determine the ultimate molar enthalpies of solution Delta(sol)H(n)(infinity) (T = 298.15 K) of L(-)-chloramphenicol (Laevomycetin), DL-chloramphenicol (Synthomycin), D(+)- and DL-camphors in water-ethanol (60 vol %) mixtures, and L(-)-and DL-menthols in ethanol (96 vol %) and acetone. The enthalpies of fusion Delta(fus)Hdegrees (at T = T-fus) of these drugs were also determined.
